US Remote 

Up to 75% Travel 

$80-95K plus 10% Bonus

Overview 

The Retail Systems Learning Partner coordinates and facilitates new store education in retail systems, onboarding, and policies. The trainer facilitates and delivers employee and management classes in adherence with Learning and Development standards for quality, consistency, and exceptional experiences.  

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate and facilitate new store education on systems (such as Point-of-Sale (VAST), Digital Vehicle Inspection, Phocas, National Accounts, etc.), retail procedures and policies.  
  • Conduct instructor-led and virtual training according to integration rollout schedule including follow-up education. Be on hand for new store openings and follow-up. 
  • Develop and maintain the course calendar, rosters and evaluations in the learning management system. 
  • Ensure classrooms are secured locally and properly equipped. Ensure learner guides and other required materials are set prior to the start of workshops. 
  • Use feedback forms for each class to evaluate course effectiveness and learner needs. 
  • Ensure all management, service advisors and key employees have been POS trained prior to opening. 
  • Utilize reports from help desk and operations to target follow-up areas with the greatest needs. 
  • Build effective support networks through constant partnership with integration team and field leadership. 
  • Attend and teach other workshops and assist with the development of training curriculum. 
  • Assist in development / revision of current / future modules / workshops / manuals, etc., serve as subject material expert.  
  • Assist with other courses or conduct train-the-trainer classes as needed.   
  • Communicate and coordinate with Director of Learning and Development any special assignments requested by District Manager and Senior Management.  

Work environment: 

  • Travel up to 75%   
  • Make own travel arrangements (company credit card) 
  • Adjust to changing schedules and arrangements in conjunction with integration team needs 

 

Skills, Qualifications and Characteristics: 

  • 5-7 years training experience in retail environment 
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing tasks 
  • Collaborative, team-oriented individual with strong sense of integrity and professionalism 
  • Ability to work in a team environment, but also work effectively as an individual 
  • Competency in adult learning and training principles 
  • VAST POS experience a plus 
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems  
  • Demonstrated facilitation skills and adult learning understanding 
  • Thorough knowledge of retail store operating procedures and policies 
  • Proficient Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
