Plaza Tire Service handles the inventory needs of its store locations and wholesale customers through the Cape Girardeau Distribution Center. As a Warehouser, you will be stocking and maintaining the warehouse, working hands on with all day-to-day functions of the warehouse and delivering tires and supplies.

COMPENSATION: $18/ hour

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Possess current and valid driver’s license
• Driving experience in medium trucks preferred
• Must be able to lift 60-130lbs repetitively.
• Ability to work 5 days between Monday-Saturday.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Warehouse maintenance
• Stocking, picking, pulling, sweeping, and organizing.
• Maintaining the warehouse and its inventory
• Delivery of tires and supplies
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Follows all safety procedures and reports any concerns to the Warehouse Manager

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

The Warehouse Associate will be exposed to moderate to loud noises, dust and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials. The temperature in the work environment varies and could include extreme heat and/or extreme cold depending on the ambient temperatures outside.

The Warehouse Associate must be able to meet the following physical requirements:

• Stand up to eight hours per day in the shop and able to walk to gain access to various areas of the building
• Bend, stoop, kneel and crouch regularly throughout the day; must have full range of motion with arms and hands and be able to feel, handle or finger objects frequently
• Lift and/or move 60-130 pounds repetitively
