What You’ll Do

 

As a Manager-in-Training (MIT), you’ll learn every aspect of store operations to prepare for a leadership role. Under the guidance of experienced mentors, you’ll master skills in people management, financial performance, operations, and customer service.

Your key responsibilities include:

People

  • Set clear expectations and communicate regularly with employees about goals, training, and customer service
  • Hold team members accountable through coaching and support
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
  • Recruit, interview, and hire new employees as needed
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations

Financials

  • Analyze business trends and develop action plans to meet or exceed sales and profit targets
  • Share financial goals and results with the team during meetings
  • Review invoices and reports to find opportunities for growth
  • Maintain tight controls over assets and cash handling

Facilities

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment—front and back
  • Ensure all equipment is in good working order and request maintenance as needed
  • Oversee proper return of unused parts and credits

 What You Bring

 

2+ years of management experience or equivalent in the automotive industry
Strong ability to coach and develop teams
Proven success meeting sales and profit goals
Previous automotive experience (Technician or similar role preferred)
Valid driver’s license
Must be at least 18 years old
Ability to work 5+ days per week, including Saturdays (never Sundays!)
